In February I started to fix/build my PC. One of my absolute requests was better lighting, and I've probably tried just about every style of lighting I could find at Revain. but for me this light bar was the clear winner. It was exactly what I didn't want. To be honest, I didn't have high expectations when ordering. A few months ago, I reviewed a similar lightbar with somewhat cumbersome touch controls, inferior materials, and a higher $50 price tag. I wasn't impressed and stopped using it. However, it worked so well and fitted into my setup so seamlessly that I fell in love with it after day one. The design and build quality are really nice. It's just a clean, plain black aluminum(?) rectangle. There are only two buttons. Simple mechanical switches with a nice click, one to adjust light colour, the other to adjust brightness and on/off. The LEDs are slightly recessed into the bezel at the right angle/eye level, you can't even see them directly, which is great for reducing glare/eye strain. He fits in half the time so well I forget about him. As you can see from the picture, the attachment is nothing more than a large round counterweight. I'm not the biggest fan of this style, but I had no problems with it. The last thing I want to mention is the brightness levels. It ranges from a subtle low-end "help me see a little bit better" to a powerful work light for projects. Great table lamp and one of my favorite products to test in the last 12 months.
