No need to take out the entire map light box - loosen two screws, pull out the entire light box just enough to remove the switches, install the new switches, then again deploy. Leave the wiring harness connected. Enough slack in the wiring to pull out enough to replace switches. Replace the bulbs once you've put the screws back into the bay. The lens is removed to start the process by pressing on one side with a flathead screwdriver on the opposite side to pop out. 5 minutes work.
