I installed this after a big disappointment from the Victron smart shunt which had terrible bluetooth range. It was easy to set up and the app is pretty good. The range is at least three times better than Victron. So far I'm impressed. It comes with a display but I didn't install it as I prefer the app. In addition, it was difficult with the Transporter to route the cable into the driver's cab and assemble it. App much easier to see everything. The display is also very easy to navigate and adjust settings. I'm glad the Bluetooth app works without a display. So you can choose which one you want to use or use both. The price is much cheaper than Victron. It works right out of the box. You only need to set the battery capacity and the current percentage. If you don't know, you can either fully charge and set to 100% or fully charge and set to 0%. Otherwise no calibration is required. You can calibrate if you wish, but it comes calibrated.
