Review on Logitech Laptop Webcam Design 360 Degree by Don Pintac

Constant problems since I got it. I'm using Windows 10. To start, I just want to say that I work in IT and have been working with all the intricacies of Windows and computers for over 10 years, so I'm very experienced in troubleshooting. I am a regular Logitech customer and always use Logitech for my peripherals. This is the only product that really failed. When I first plugged it in, the mic didn't work at all. I couldn't activate it. I suspect this is due to a conflict with the microphone on my Logitech G930 headset. I finally fixed it by completely uninstalling the driver using a different USB port, restarting my computer and completely reinstalling the software. Not a plug and play experience. It finally worked, but then other problems arose. The video from this webcam is terrible. Blue lines are everywhere in the picture, as if they were static. I believe this only happens in low light, but to be honest the lighting isn't that low. When it's not sunny, it looks like shit. Even if the microphone works (e.g. I'm speaking and people can hear something on the other end during a video call), but almost every video call (mostly in Google Hangouts) I've hosted on the other end he comments on sound quality, poor hearing, distortion, etc. I used to use a Logitech 720p C310, which worked great with audio and video for 5 years (problems finally started, but 5 years enough). I've also never had a problem with the C310 in low light. In summary, this webcam is more trouble than it's worth. Unfortunately, due to the fact that the issues didn't appear all at once (I had the option of workaround/troubleshooting until I fixed it), I did not return this item in a timely manner. I've tried changing the settings, reinstalling, but I'm still having problems with the picture and sound. When the video sucked, I was ready to give up (just a few days late). So now it's just going to gather dust somewhere and I'm leaving this review to try and save others from my misery.
