This DIY power bank is a great way to turn lithium cells into a useful item. I buy old laptop batteries and extract 18650 cells from them for electronic projects. I was looking for a way to design a high capacity battery to power my Go Pro watch. It matches the ticket exactly. I estimate that with the 8 batteries I put in there I get around 17,000mAh which is pretty good considering how much it would cost to buy it outright. This device has all 3 inputs so you can charge it with a Lightning, USB Micro or USB-C cable. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is for two reasons: The cable they give you is only about 9 inches long and doesn't have a USB-C output. I am currently using USB C to C cables and need to unplug the USB AC cable to charge my phone with it. Otherwise this thing is really good and the flashlight is very powerful. You only need to double press the power button to turn it on and off.
