The PERIMICE-720W is very similar to the Logitech M570, with several significant exceptions. Both are VERY comfortable in the hand and easy to use, with "Forward" and "Back" buttons for applications that support those (browsing, file navigation, etc.), and moving the cursor around without having to move the mouse (and reserve desk space to do so) can be very beneficial. Now, the differences.1) When I first read about the interchangeable angled bases it sounded like a gimmick, but it is actually a big help - with the mouse flat, the hand is at an angle, resting on it's edge (at least for me), which puts extra pressure on the index finger against the right button - when tired, I would occasionally, unintentionally "right click", often at very inopportune times.2) That mysterious extra button, directly behind the scroll wheel - the ad doesn't mention it - pressing that will rotate you through all open windows/tabs! Very handy!3) The BlueTooth compatibility, in addition to WiFi.4) QUALITY! I can honestly say I have purchased and used up 7 or 8 of the Logitech M570s over the last decade - they are wonderful WHILE THEY WORK! They are known (do a search, and you will see) for REALLY cheap switches, that will eventually (and inevitably) fail, either by just not working, or (often worse) "bouncing" (which means repeating) - you go to click once, and the computer receives two, three or more clicks - very bad for editing, navigating or game play! EVERY ONE of my 7 or 8 M570s did this, and I've reported it to Logitech to no avail! Each Logitech lasted between 6 and 18 months, and I've only had this PERIMICE unit for 5 or 6 weeks, so I can't really say how well it will hold up, but right out of the box the switches were obviously higher quality, with firm, decisive "On" and "Off" clicks. For $5 more than the Logitech, I fully expect I will get FAR longer life out pf this mouse!
