Review on 🔒 Amerock Nickel Concealed Cabinet Hinge, 1/2 inch Overlay, 13mm, 2 Pack, Self-Closing Door Hinge by Jose Ortega

Purchased to replace a broken Amerock Kitchen Cabinet Hinge mid 1990's (stamped '2010-33' on the back of the section on the door ['33' is in the hole] and 1 1/4" stamped on the section that fits the door frame). I checked the size of the existing cutouts and drill holes using the PDF drawing for the new Amerock BP2811C1314 and it turned out they were fitted the old one. When the BP2811C1314 arrived it fitted like a glove with the same holes and that was it. All I had to do was just insert screws into the old holes. The new part seems better as the square spring steel that closes the door has been replaced with a real spring It took me a while to find out it was a replacement and I wanted to pass on the info The old one broke after 27 years gone: metal fatigue on link arm. Hope the new one holds up as well.
