UPDATE. After a year of not always having the light on when I hit the wall switch, and having reverse control (1 was fast and 3 was slow), I've replaced this controller with another brand. Lighting and fans are now working properly. FIRST REVIEW. So I've only installed five or six fan remotes in my life. They are not difficult to install. However, this doesn't work as it should. About 30% of the time the light doesn't come on and I have to flip the switch again and the speed changes back (1 is fast, 3 is slow). I put another brand in my other room and it works great.
