This light is PERFECT for an aquarium with dense vegetation! This is actually the second time I have bought one of these devices. For my 75g and 46g aquariums. PAR levels are high enough to support most light intensive plants, but are not harsh or overbearing. Love the almost unlimited possibilities of color temperature, tint, time and intensity. They're so thin you won't even notice them! I used to use a wooden canopy to cover the lights, but now I don't even need it! The aluminum body keeps the product cool, which extends its lifespan. The only two issues I have with this unit are that the remote reception is about 4 feet or less (no kidding) and I wish the cable connecting the lightbar to the control box was a little longer. An AWESOME feature that makes this product unique is the fact that the timer keeps individual settings and correct time even after a power outage! ADVANTAGES: * FULLY AUTOMATIC * Fully customizable * Restores programming and correct time after a power failure! * Slim, aesthetic design * Efficient use of energy * Excellent plant growth * Can be optimized for specific aquarium types! CONS: * Disappointing long-distance reception * Shorter than ideal cable from LED to control box * Flash/Burst function Gentle on people but aggressive on residents. All in all I cannot praise the Current USA Satellite [+] Pro enough! I recommend from one aquarist to another.
