I bought this iron in December 2018. It met all my usual requirements - ceramic sole, lots and lots of vapor, auto shut off - and was so good at first that I was willing to order a second one. Today he just died - no warning, nothing. I abuse my irons - I sew and weld a lot of seams to make my irons go bad. I usually drop the iron and break it. This iron just died - DEAD. If you are looking for a reliable iron, avoid this one. TO UPDATE! I found out that this iron comes with a warranty. After a few letters to Amazon and Martison, the company sent me new hardware. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Although I bought another iron, I will be using the new Martison as a backup. I like it when a company stands behind their products.
