I bought this shirt because I was looking for a soft shirt that could be worn discreetly under a regular shirt for active contact sports. With that in mind, I specifically looked for a body-hugging shirt because I didn't want it to look too bulky. As for sizing, I don't think they have a sizing issue. This shirt is about the same size as if you bought a dry-fit fitness jogging shirt. The only thing that makes it "feel" smaller is the padding, which makes it more restrictive. Getting dressed is not a problem as it is very elastic. The problem arises when you try to remove it, not because it's small, but because the extra padding makes it stiffer and firmer again, making it not as easy to remove. I'm usually a medium, I received the S/M and thought it was perfect. For those who want a tight shirt, take your normal size. If you like it a little looser, order 1 size up. If you want something that fits like a loose fitting t-shirt then look for another shirt because just by looking at the outline of this shirt you will understand that it should be form fitting. Advantages and disadvantages. The only negative thing about this shirt is the padding. They engage in all the right places and the aesthetic design of the padding looks great, but I have to say it's a bit too soft for my liking. The lining offers the same protection as a bubble jacket. They may look thick in the photo, and while they're actually quite thick, they're too soft to offer that kind of protection. It removes the paintball's sting well, especially on a fleeing hit, but you still get scars on a direct hit. I tried this recently when I was sparring in foil and it didn't work that well. I still felt almost every bump and punch aimed at me. However, I find soft padding better than no padding. But due to the soft padding, it offers better range of motion than any other lined shirt I've tried. I'm not saying you don't "notice" you're wearing a shirt (as mentioned in other comments), you'll still feel uncomfortable wearing a soft shirt (compared to a regular one). shirt), but it's still better than any other lined shirt I've tried. It's also great for cooling and wicking away sweat. What really sells this product to me is how it looks. This is one sexy shirt! I really don't mind wearing it alone.
