I wish I found this sooner! I use gel polish which is stored in hard bottles so sunlight doesn't ruin the gel, making it difficult to see the actual color of the polish. I used to have to open every bottle of nail polish I was interested in to see what color it really was. Now I can color and label these nail pens with my paint colors and I can easily see what color options I have. I love it! The nail pattern sticks are made of transparent plastic and the nails are well attached to the stick. The clip opens on one side, you insert the sticks and close the clasp again. The sticks don't rotate 360 degrees around the clip - in other words, they stay on the half of the clip you placed them on. I used a marker to indicate what brand/color of polish is on each sample and it held up well. I will definitely be getting more of these as I have a large nail polish collection and this is the perfect way to keep track of all my colors!
