I've read a lot of reviews criticizing these CD cases and there is some truth in their criticism. These sleeves fit snugly in CD booklets and boxes on US size trays. They work? Yes. I developed a technique to customize the booklet and card slot. The booklet must be folded carefully when inserted. It will be flat after pasting. Gently insert the booklet partially into the sleeve. Then the tray card fits underneath. Insert both as far as they will go. I put the CDs in with the shiny side facing the booklet. I haven't noticed any scratches on the CDs, but I'm not overly concerned about these micro-scratches as they don't affect playability or sound quality. Despite fiddling with the insert, these cases are a very economical storage alternative.
