Review on Vac Fresh Roll Vacuum 3 5Mil Sealer by Christine Rowe

Revainrating 5 out of 5

VERY SATISFIED with the results of using these bags. ENORMOUS cost savings compared to manufacturer bags. Just don't seal the swordfish inside!

I bought these bags thinking I would take a chance given the price of the original bags and hope they are acceptable. Much to my delight, they lasted better than I expected, and I ended up ordering bigger ones too! I'll add measurement photos but they actually seem to be thicker than FS packs and seal and vacuum well. I put in irregularly shaped objects to see how they suck around them. They did well, but don't believe me, look at the photo I took a week later, sealed in a bag. Given that food vacuum sealers are designed to save money, it amazes me that the manufacturer of the device seems to want half of the planned bag cost savings! This is a great alternative to expensive bags! Considering how much I like them, I just ordered an 11" so I now have 200 feet of bag stuff for less than the cost of a pack I'm buying, which isn't even half the price. I don't a lot.cooking in a bag so i cant comment on this use case but they claim you can freeze, microwave or microwave cook in it.the reason i put it that way is because i know the end rolled up the bag to keep the ends clean when I filled it a few days ago and when I unpacked it I noticed a small tear on the open edge I was tough with it but it broke anyway. I think for most uses you'll be fine, but if you're sealing needles, scissors or swordfish, be careful! ;)
