I just downgraded my rating. Although my tech-savvy husband carefully applied the screen protector to the pristine screen, there were a couple of large bubbles around the edges that wouldn't come out. Hence the difficulty in attaching the protection. I hope they go away in a day or so. I noticed there wasn't a question about this, so I'll try to ask it myself. If you are not sure, buy another cover. It has a nice matte finish. When I read in the light it's not perfect, but it reduces glare significantly. There is no distortion and the glass seems thick enough to get the job done. Maybe I should have paid and had someone at the mall put a screen protector on it, but I wanted a matte finish. Sigh.
