Review on 🔊 NHT Audio iC4-ARC 8-inch Premium In-Ceiling Speaker, Aluminum Drivers, 150 Watts, Patented Three-tweeter Array, Single, Matte White by Renee Chavez

I mounted it on the ceiling and was impressed by its size and weight. Actually the weight is sufficient so I would advise using the special brackets sold for this speaker but unfortunately in my case this was not possible and so I have to rely on the wall plate to support it. The speaker is designed for this so it shouldn't be a problem, but I'd like to use brackets for extra security. Another caveat I would like to add is that this speaker is very deep and you need to make sure you have the required clearance in the cavity where you intend to mount it. It won't fit in a regular 2x4 wall. My only minor complaint is that both units I purchased had a small identical defect in the center of the grill due to the way the product is packaged. NHT should fix this.
