I needed a wireless router for my apartment so I looked for the cheapest device I could find. A few days later, I have a well-packaged, neatly sorted product in my mailbox. The device comes with two manuals; a quick start guide in English and a small brochure in Spanish. The company strongly recommends using the included mini-CD for a quick automatic setup. I ignored this, used it for targeted practice, and proceeded to manually configure the router (manual configuration instructions are also included in the quick start guide). The router has a simplified web interface with a sidebar that describes the various settings and their effects. I was up and running in less than 5 minutes. If you want complete control over your router, including how it eats, breathes, and sleeps, look elsewhere; most of the detail settings of my WRT54GL with DD-WRT are missing. The router itself is of above-average quality for its price. Plastic doesn't look "cheap" like many cheap electronics. The Wi-Fi port wobbles a bit when you plug in the cable, but it doesn't look like it's going to break anytime soon. Bottom Line: While it lacks the advanced settings and features of $50-$70 routers, it's a solid choice for a budget router. I would/definitely buy again.
