GENERAL APPEARANCE - Playpen is very large and the fabric is soft. The frame feels solid and the playpen is so roomy that I'm happy to leave him there while we do other chores or just take a break knowing he has plenty of room for himself and his toys! A must have when your baby starts rolling and crawling. MATERIALS - The material is soft and odorless. why do i know this Checked carefully before assembly. Although the manufacturer said in the product instructions that there might be a slight odor when opening the product for the first time, I didn't notice anything. Peace of mind for new parents. ASSEMBLY - The item came in a storage bag with rods, joints and fabrics. It was pretty easy to assemble, but I read the instructions. The stainless steel frames feel fairly solid and smooth, with no sharp edges or protruding objects. The rods are quite firmly in the connections, there is nothing to complain about the fit. One thing to note is that putting the top cap on is a bit tricky. You just have to find the right direction and it took me a few minutes to figure it out and the top cover needs a bit of stretching to wrap around the playpen. The whole assembly took about 20 minutes to put everything together. Pretty good. THE SIZE. This arena is big. Although I didn't measure, I don't see my little one feeling restricted or anything like that. See photos of the assembled product with my dog inside. My dog wanted to be inside so badly I let him in. My dog weighs 22 kilos, so you can roughly imagine how big the playpen is. STRENGTH - I personally wouldn't worry about that. I tried putting some of my weight on the arena and it didn't give at all, maybe just a little bit. I'm a 190lb male so I'd say the playpen should hold up well as long as the adults aren't on the frame. WHY THIS PEN? - I specifically chose this playpen for its unique one-piece top cover design, as I didn't like other models on the market where the frames easily open. Please note that the mat is not included in this product and we put a puzzle mat underneath to make our little ones feel more comfortable. Also easy assembly. It comes with a storage bag. I highly recommend this product and an excellent job of assembly.
