Review on ⚡ Siemens WN2060U Non Fused Disconnect Receptacle: Reliable Power Control Solution by James Jenkins

Fragile design and tedious installation

Very poor workmanship and design. The wiring block where the power and load wires connect is not attached to the case at all. It's just a piece of plastic loosely held in place by a couple of tabs. The unit moves around when the release handle is installed and used. Installation is a nightmare because the metal wire clamps on the block come in two pieces that fall apart very easily. You need to open the screw just enough to let the wire in without opening it too far. At this point, two small pieces will fall off, forcing you to start over. You will try to hold these parts with one hand, the screwdriver with the other hand and literally try to hold the case cover open with your forehead. To be honest, it's like a product that was designed on a computer, prototyped, and then never got any feedback from those unfortunate enough to install one. Oh, and the socket compartment space is too small and the cable cover gap is too big. Literally the worst electronic product I have ever seen. There was an extra hour of frustration and bloody fingers fixing it.
