Mostly firm, but the cutoff isn't tight. Is this a good contact?

I didn't quite understand what she was commenting on from other reviews but once I got my unit I understood better. The retractable tray slides out too easily. If I just turn the device face down, the bar falls out. I expect a cozy German vibe from other things from Siemens. This block may or may not withstand the current. Fragile design and tedious installation

Very poor workmanship and design. The wiring block where the power and load wires connect is not attached to the case at all. It's just a piece of plastic loosely held in place by a couple of tabs. The unit moves around when the release handle is installed and used. Installation is a nightmare because the metal wire clamps on the block come in two pieces that fall apart very easily. You need to open the screw just enough to let the wire in without opening it too far. At this point, two small…
