NOT PROTECTED AGAINST SPILLS!

I bought these mugs for two main reasons. First, it's ceramic inside, so there's no stainless steel taste. Second, I wanted something that wouldn't spill. Unfortunately, the first thing I checked was how it would hold my coffee when turned on its side. The coffee spilled as soon as I checked. DEFINITELY NO PROTECTION! It's a shame because everything else is great.

THE PERFECT ADDITION TO YOUR COFFEE MACHINE: Thanks to its extra large capacity (over half a liter) you will want to keep it next to your favorite coffee maker or kettle. The heavy ceramic keeps your hot drinks warm and the sliding lid keeps them hotter for longer.
