These are plain white boxes that arrive flat. I was able to assemble one in under 2 minutes. The cardboard is quite thin and I think if these boxes were a bit bigger they might be too thin. But for this size I think it will fit. The end result is quite strong and structural. The outside has a smooth satin finish. The lids are connected (hinged) to the box and can easily be folded into/removed from the box. There is a semi-circular notch on the front to make opening the lid easier, which I really appreciate. They come in a thin stack, shrink-wrapped and easy to store.
