I ride a sports bike but need extra warmth in spring and autumn. I could have used them when we drove to a meeting on May 1st when the temperature was just over 40 degrees. I'm a petite 5ft 3 inch female and I don't think I would need to crop her. Once I pull them onto my jeans, I can somehow lift them when I bend my legs for the top position. If I need to trim, I like that there is enough room under the zipper to trim. The zippers are durable and close with a zip. If necessary, I have room for thicker jeans and base layers. High quality leather and soft to the touch. Buttoned hem for a better fit at the bottom of the leg. And they fit my body perfectly. They are stylish and not bulky or baggy on my feet. The price was PERFECT and that's what drew me to this particular pair. They also arrived VERY quickly. Very pretty. It's summer now, but I can't wait to try them out in the fall.
