This is only big enough to hold a couple of credit cards or ID. Maybe also a key if its on a very small key ring. It will not hold a phone or anything very bulky.The material is soft and does not irritate my skin, but is a thicker knit and can get hot around your wrist. I wear this mostly when I go out for drinks or dinner to carry my ID and debit card. To me it feels more secure than pockets, not all of my clothes have pockets and I don't have to worry about keeping up with a purse. There are plenty of colors to coordinate with outfits so it isn't very noticeable. I will order again.
