Great tripod for camera and photo

This rating is based on early use. I will update if anything changes. The build quality of the tripod is surprisingly good. It's slightly larger than the Magnus but weighs a few pounds less and is taller. I found the Cayer's leg tension system to be more to my liking than the Mangus'. (Twist to tighten, don't lock.) The legs are solid and soft, but I wish they had the retractable tip that Magnus has. Also, it would be nice if the spreader had a quick release system, but that's a budget product. If you need to spread the legs further to get lower, make sure you have a wrench to hold the nuts on the spreader as the included hex wrench is not enough to remove the bolts holding it in place keep. The pan and tilt movement is smooth. , although sometimes there is some "crunching", although this happens rarely and does not particularly spoil the action, but sometimes it can make noise. I found it good that the head has a threaded socket where you can screw on other things, such as a monitor mount. The Magnus doesn't have this feature, which can be crucial for professional recording. I was also pleasantly surprised to find an extra removable disk in my bag. Edit: Noticed another reviewer had a crunching issue and replaced it with another one that worked. I sent back the broken one and the new one I received had no issues with panning or tilting crunching.
