I'll start by loving the way they look and I like that the brackets support the shelf from above where most other similar products do support bottom. However, as I've seen in other comments, the gold is mostly just sprayed which means they scratch very easily and end up looking pretty dirty pretty quickly. I carried one of the mounts around with me, took it to a few different shops to find matching hardware and when I was ready to use it it looked awful - luckily I had two extras on my project so did I didn't have to use the one I carried around with me. If you can rack them up, they'll carry almost anything. If you can't fit in a rack, be sure to invest in cabinet-quality drywall anchors or jackscrews.
