Review on Aveda Light Elements Texturizing Creme by Kim Sanchez

I've read reviews and warnings about the horrible smell, but I've always liked Aveda products and thought these people might have different tastes than I do. nope That thing really stinks. It smells exactly like an essential oil I bought on the street in New York in the 80's. I wish I knew what it was because it's really hard to describe. This is a very heavy scent. I put a little product about half a pea size on my hair when I first opened it to see how it looked. After about 1/2 hour my eyes started to swell with irritation. I had to wash my hair to calm down. It's a very heavy, very bitter, spicy-orange smell, so to speak, but with a kind of sour milk bitterness, so to speak, and heavy, heavy, heavy. I don't think I can use it. The odor is not only unpleasant but also very irritating to the eyes. I just threw away $30.
