Does not work with cold soap

Contrary to the manufacturer's claims, this does not work with cold soap (CP). I divided the two pound batch into thirds and had to add half a bottle to one of the thirds to see anything even slightly colourful. Angry and desperate for some color before the soap started to harden, I separated about four ounces of the soap and added a very large amount of cherry red color that was light enough when I added it to the form. I isolated the soap and let it sit overnight for more vibrant colors. but when I cut this batch I didn't see even a hint of redness. I saw pale green, one of the other colors I added. Nothing flashy and distinctly different colors treat alkaline conditions differently. Luckily Revain got my money back.
