No but yes to filter
When I got this filter for my 2017 Nissan Versa SV I couldn't figure out how it would work, it was twice the size of the hole in the dash. So I've come to the conclusion that you just need to compress it enough to get into the hole and then expand to fill the entire cavity. You don't want to scale down or it won't work as efficiently.
