We love our i7 Roomba, but we have to empty the bin every time we use it - I blame the dog and all his hair. I should have bought the i7+ (which includes this base) in the first place! Installation was very easy - just replace the dust bag with the new one that came with the unit, plug in and you're done! As a bonus, you no longer need your old charger so you can take your old charger upstairs, and now if you take Roomba upstairs to clean it will charge upstairs too. When I bought the Roomba i7 I thought this accessory was unnecessary, but due to pet hair, we had to regularly empty the bin with every vacuum cycle. and if we were able to do a full cleaning, we would still have to empty the bin before the next cycle. It's much more comfortable, the floors are very clean and . Great job Roomba!
