High quality and responsive confusing instructions

Very good quality, small so you can add other accessories too and the triggers are very nice with a nice click. I use a couple of these for the left, right, and handle/fan/battery of the Anker PowerCore Play Controller. The only thing I don't like is the confusing way the auto modes are selected. I had to read the instructions about ten times before I understood how it works. Essentially, you have two buttons: Mode and Trigger. The mode button toggles between two things: green (single press) and a second mode for you to choose from. The second mode is one of three options: green again (single press), red (recorded pattern), or orange (9 presses per second). To change which, hold the mode while pressing the shutter button and the light will change to green, orange, or red. Once you see the color you want, let go of the mode and it's now set: tap "Mode" to toggle between green and your chosen color. Why can't you just press mode and choose one of the three colors? Why is the trigger button activated at all? I have no idea. You have to choose one and then it will alternate between green and another color. Confusing because you ALSO press and hold mode to start recording. Press and hold the mode until the indicator flashes red, press the shutter button in any order and at the right time, then press the mode again to stop recording. Your red mode will now reflect the recorded pattern. So holding the mode does two things, and one of them seems unnecessary. Just let me press "mode" to toggle all three modes instead of green and second. Anyway, I finally figured it out and then I could start playing. This is a really good trigger button for your phone. It's double-sided so you can place it on the left or right, or take two like I did and place one each on the left and right. A dirty rotary mechanical arm with a moving pen pad that delays input.

Pros
  • Like everything before
Cons
  • Definitely bad product
