They worked brilliantly on deck 4 on our cruise ship Symphony of the Seas.
The only time they didn't work was . . . Well I guess never. We were on the Symphony and we were always able to communicate with the kids no matter where they were on the ship. Pleasantly surprised. Used 2 sets of regular (non-rechargeable) batteries in a week. Arrived with fresh normal batteries, took another set for the walkie talkie AND 2 sets of batteries. returned home with the 2nd set of batteries which barely worked. Excellent purchase. Buy it!
