used twice and had to be discarded. The tool looks solid and basically fits into the filter housing. However, this is not ideal. Because of this, the tool can easily twist and bend. This will cause the tool to get stuck in the filter housing. When changing the oil on my wife's Toyota, I had to pry off the tool with a large flathead screwdriver. Not ideal, but doable. When I used it to change the oil in my truck with a somewhat tight filter, the tool had just enough flex to fully hook into the body. I had to clamp it in a metal vise and knock it off with a dowel and a hammer. After that, the metal of the tool was so damaged that I had to throw the whole thing in the trash. I would not recommend it.
