It's hard to clean toilets, but I FaceTimed a bearded guy to show him this thing. When it arrived all I had to do was screw the handle onto the brush head. The brush is inserted into the canister and from there it goes almost automatically. When you take the brush out, the lid opens by itself and stays there until you put the brush back on the little foot inside, which closes the container again. The bristles are silicone and dry much faster than regular toilet brushes. In a gel toilet cleaner, the thicker silicone bristles leave streaks, requiring additional scrubbing to remove the streaks. At first I was confused by the handle loop but then decided it would be great for sanitizing the outside of the brush and hanging it to dry. Overall I'm very happy with this brush and I love that I don't have to touch the lid or holder with a dirty toilet brush.
