Not much to say about functionality: this handy level is designed for a standard hot shoe. HAMA also makes a dual level (two-way level) that costs a few dollars more. The materials are durable, weight and space in a camera bag are not an issue. This spirit level is easier to read and use than those built into tripod bases, so it's a great device for those with mature eyes. I often use mine for landscapes. My big complaint used to be related to the cost: Many small photo shops charge $40 or more for one of these. Adorama is now offering it for around $10, which is a very fair price.
