I needed to replace a blown bulb in our microwave and wanted something brighter and whiter than the factory bulbs. The LED cornbulb seemed like an obvious choice, but there have been so many complaints, for so many bulbs from so many manufacturers, about the devices: 1) flickering, especially at low levels, or 2) bleeding light when the current is supposed to turned off, which I've come to terms with, I'll just buy another bulb. I stumbled upon these lamps just before I was about to give up and their ratings seemed to be better than most. So I decided to give them a try - and I'm so glad I did. In our Bosch microwave HMV9305/01 these lamps are excellent: POSITIVE+ Brighter than the original (30W) but not too bright. High or low settings. I'm sensitive to it and don't notice a trace.+ No buzzing at high or low settings. Almost all of my dimmable LEDs hum to some degree, but these are quiet+. Fits perfectly. The lamp's outer cover is almost the same size as the bulb it replaces, but is slightly smaller to ensure it fits. + Low price and high quality offer excellent value for money. I have no complaints about these lamps. Maybe the behavior is different on different brands/models of microwaves, but on ours they are perfect. I'll see if I can find other bulbs from the same manufacturer for other purposes in my house; I've had a few old CFLs that have failed recently and would like to replace them with something as good as this one.
