Experience with WD Customer Service!

This will be my last update and purchase of WD products. Although the support team was kind enough to provide me with a replacement MyBok 4TB, which is a dead unit, the new one has the exact same issue. It works great with files up to 70GB. Once you exceed that file size, the drive literally fails, the transfer rate simply drops to 0, and the computer can't recognize it, reconnect it, securely erase it, or even shut it down. I tried it on all three systems: Windows (7 and 10), Mac OS X and Ubuntu Linux. I don't want someone who has large files for professional work to buy this drive and become a victim of data loss, this is for simple daily work; although even the previous one started showing bad sectors once a month or less after very light use which I wrote after WD offered me an extension of my warranty and great customer service. I was quickly replaced with a WD drive. So I changed it to four stars. Thanks to WD for the great support. ----------------- After two years of very infrequent use, this drive broke. He began to automatically disconnect from the computer. After contacting WD, they initially stated that the warranty expired from the date the drive was manufactured. Since I didn't register it, I sent them my invoice with the date of the extended warranty. They asked me to wait 24-48 hours for my documents to be in the system and they will be submitted for the extended warranty. No response after 5 days of waiting. When I emailed them, they showed me links to documents showing that this drive has a two-year warranty in America only. I let them know I will note it on this product page so other Revain buyers are aware of the poor quality and subpar customer service.
