Overall I have to say that I am not satisfied with this microphone. But don't let my high expectations stop you from trying this affordable and easy-to-use option. The mic is well packaged and feels sturdy, but not exactly cheap. It has a stylish design and fits perfectly on the table. The mic was easy to install and set up, and I captured audio faster than with any other digital audio interface or connection. In fact, this microphone is designed for beginners, budget-friendly, large-scale meetings, dictation, gamers, kids, and simple voice recording. The pop filter and foam windscreen are nice to have. The Echo option looks childish and is only really useful for gamers or kids fooling around. One of the biggest issues with the microphone is the mute button. It clicks when pressed and is very loud when the microphone is on. Another big problem I encountered was the volume control. It really needs to stay fully raised to capture quality sound. I checked the headphone jack and it seems to work fine for mic monitoring, but you really can't control much else with it as there's no headphone volume control. I bought this mic to see if I could find a cheap alternative to expensive USB mics. This enabled me to get better sound with easier setup for large meetings and digital presentations. I'm not sure if this is the right choice for me. However, if you're looking for a mic that's easy to set up and still be able to record itself to edit later, this is a good option, especially for the price.
