I have an old TV. I connected it to a DVD player with applications. The DVD player is dead. I couldn't find a DVD player in a reasonable price range. I ran cables in the living room. When the installer came he said it wouldn't work with the old TV. My son came out with a mini TV. And I'm not kidding. I went back to Amazon looking for an adapter. i found this I think the difference was that it was powered. I hooked it up today, a miracle of miracles, it worked. Xfinity works by using Wi-Fi to connect a second TV. which means HDMI adapter that was not in this set. Connects via RCA ports. This TV was given to me and has hardly been used. I think it will work with a firestick, rocko, anything extra to pay for it. I recommend it.
