I bought this to connect my new Roku box to a very old TV. It worked well. I was able to connect everything without any problems and have no problems. Remember that you have to connect it. Luckily we have an extension cord that now holds our TV, Roku, and this converter.

My TV provider has changed and I've switched to a Fire Stick on my fiber optic home, but the Fire Stick requires an HDMI input on your TV. I had an old TV that didn't have an HDMI input. BUT there were RCA jacks so I bought these instead of spending $$$ on a new TV. The Fire Stick is plugged into the device and the device is plugged into the RCA jacks on my TV and WALLA, everything worked fine.

My new Blu-ray player only has an HDMI output and my 20 year old 7.1 surround sound receiver only has RCA inputs. My receiver and speakers are too good to throw away so this product saved me a ton of money! I bought this to stream my phone to my car dvd player. It worked great the first time I used it. When I was done, I unplugged the RCA connectors from the DVD player. The metal sleeve has come loose from the connector and is now plugged into the DVD's RCA connector. So I figured it would be an easy replacement.
