Proven and reliable design

I have been buying red universal adjustable dampers for many years. You can adjust the water supply how long it stays up and drains. But it also had plastic clips to attach it to the pivot. This recently resulted in the toilet shifting intermittently and leaking until I wiggled the handle. This all-rubber design solved that problem. Spend a little more and you get a quality product!
