Review on 📷 Fotasy Canon FD to Sony FE Mount Adapter: Compatible with Sony a7 Series, a9, and a6xxx Cameras by Seth Gomez

Fotasy Exakta Adapter for Sony E-Mount is rated with 3 stars. The good thing is that the sides of the Sony E-mount adapters fit well. The not so good stuff are two problems on Exakta's part. First, with two adapters, the end of the spring protruded through a hole in the latch and touched the back of the lens or the Exakta bayonet extension. So it didn't fit. Second, on all five adapters I tried, the flanges on the back of the lens mount collided with the flanges on the Fotasy adapter. So I used a cheap "aftermarket" Exakta bayonet extension tube and torque to pry it open. It took about 15-20 turns to fix (don't do this procedure with a good lens!) and I also removed all loose metal parts. Once this was done, the adapters began to work. Finally, on the good side, Fotasy replaced two adapters that weren't working. I recommend Fotasy to improve their production editing so they don't require extra effort to get them working. I suggest testing new batches and marking them as improved.
