Getting cheaper - Disappointing

Very disappointing purchase! I am a very loyal Norelco customer and have been exclusively using the Philips Norelco brand for 30 years and year by year their products get cheaper and meaner. Keep it protected and clean together with the nozzle and cleaning brush. I'm not even talking about the much more durable travel case. which I last received from the manufacturer in the late 1980s. Then the suitcases became bags, which in turn became more fragile every year. Now they're not even the same anymore. Somewhere along the way a previously complimentary charging cradle has fallen, just another cheap piece of plastic. At a price of $100, how many dollars does that reduce profit? Good luck on your journey with that razor and tucking away those various loose flying bits among your other belongings just when you need them for the last time. Of course, there is a version of this razor that comes with a travel case and stand—at a hefty price tag of $30-40. For a plastic box? And it comes with a beard trimmer - except I don't need one! And then there's the case of false advertising: images on Revain show a flip-up razor head under a running faucet for cleaning. You can detach the razor head, but it is not movable! Fails completely. So another piece flies around freely while you might want to keep the razor open to dry. After all, in this version, Norelco finally and happily got rid of the clunky, unwieldy cleaning device that seemed to have the main purpose of yet another upgrade. Price. It is a pity. I'm so disappointed I'm considering returning it and checking out Braun for the first time in 30 years. Norelco doesn't seem to be focused on its customers and doesn't care if they can earn a few cents more on the bottom line. But eventually enough - my patience was at the end.
