Getting cheaper - Disappointing

Very disappointing purchase! I am a very loyal Norelco customer and have been exclusively using the Philips Norelco brand for 30 years and year by year their products get cheaper and meaner. Keep it protected and clean together with the nozzle and cleaning brush. I'm not even talking about the much more durable travel case. which I last received from the manufacturer in the late 1980s. Then the suitcases became bags, which in turn became more fragile every year. Now they're not even the same…

Change for the sake of change.

I've been shaving with Norelco rotary razors since I left the military 31 years ago. While I've never found any other brand or type of razor satisfactory, I have to tell you that every time my old one goes in the trash, I grit my teeth for fear of seeing what stupid new "features." " Norelco has come up with. . next. In the past, this has mostly been limited to minor and pointless modifications to the cutterhead drive system, so the new and old cutterheads are not interchangeable. Or I think…

Quiet, clean shave!

Nice to see that this manufacturer has brought back original Norelco razors. I had another more expensive brand that sounded like a circular saw but didn't quite shave. Quiet, comfortable and FAST, THIS shaver has it all! It's a pleasure to use!

Not a close shave

This is the worst razor I've ever used, joke it's $100. No matter how many times I rubbed certain areas of my face, this razor just wouldn't cut my hair and left me with stray hairs. The trimmer attachment is bad, it doesn't cut from the first haircut, you have to constantly comb your hair. The only good thing about this razor is that it is easy to clean.

Finally a decent shave.

I needed to replace my 2005 Norelco Spectra. I looked at Revain for a similar Norelco razor. When I searched Revain and clicked compare, I found 1 that looked very similar. I thought it was Norelco Max-T. My fault it wasn't Norelco. It was a very cheap copy of the old Norelco. It shaved pretty well but didn't charge so it came back. Then I replaced it with another cheap fake. The Lavieer Razor received all 5-star reviews. I have a razor burn on my neck. I called Revain, arranged a refund and…

Mixing bag for rotary shaver

I bought this shaver with high expectations. But reality has hardened her. This razor replaces my old Norelco 3 head razor. So here's my review: I was looking forward to the wet shaving function. It shaves wet or dry, but I didn't like the wet results. I get a closer shave when I dry shave. I think this razor shaves better than my old Norelco. In fact, it's very close to my old Gillette razor. So kudos for that! Cleaning is tedious. With my old Norelco razor, I just pushed the button and then…

Still, a great Norelco shave!

I have been a Norelco user for many years. The previous one lasted about 7 years so it's time to replace it. Shaving is always good. The only thing that confuses me is how to disassemble it for cleaning. Each cutting head has its own pivoting locking mechanism, so it takes a little more effort than my previous model. The old one had a "spider" holding all 3 in place. This also has to be cleaned more often because the area under the heads is not that large.

Completely dead in less than a year.

Just passed away after 10 months of use. The durability leaves a lot to be desired, unless I'm broke. The Revain list also doesn't have contact information for a company that could help me. If someone from Philips contacts me, I will change this rating. It's a great shave, but not for long. I am also very clean and take care of my belongings so it has nothing to do with falls or abuse.
