Review on Steadyrack Classic Rack Wall Mounted Solution by Michelle Chauvin

I bought this rack for my Specialized Venge. During assembly, which was difficult due to the large screws provided, I noticed that the bulky piece of metal meant to hold the front wheel and bike in place did not fit my bike due to insufficient clearance between the rear rack and the carbon frame . . I can either lay my bike on its side or risk scratching the frame with a metal wheel holder. Bad design for road bikes. Better for bikes with more tire clearance than a 25mm tire. I can't even return it because it's permanently attached to my wall studs in the garage. If it is removed, my wall will be gutted. I need to find another bike that fits in the trunk. Very disappointed given the price paid.
