Review on 🌞 ROCKPALS 200W Portable Solar Panel with Kickstand - QC 3.0 & Type C Output, Foldable Solar Charger for Jackery Explorer/ROCKPALS/Paxcess Portable Solar Power Station Generator and USB Devices - 18V/36V by Jerry Olson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Large fold-out control panel, multiple voltages (18/36V)

Summary: This is an interesting proposition, it offers both 18V/100W output and 36V/200W output (according to the Revain site), but the packaging says otherwise; at 18 V the output current is 11.11 A and at 36 V the current is 5.56 A. Both correspond to an output power of 200W. Observations: The 2.0m cable consists of 12 AWG wire rated at 300V. An 18V setting will charge a typical power supply directly, while 36V will charge into an MPPT (Maximum Point Tracking) can be fed into the 24 battery bank system (this is the setup I will be using). A: When it comes to photovoltaic/solar panels, there are polycrystalline and monocrystalline, polycrystalline is cheaper but less efficient, and mono is more expensive but also more efficient. For fixed (home) panels, the total cost is $1 per watt; So this $500 200W panel costs $2.50 per watt, which is 2.5 times more expensive. their showcase to see available kits Pros: good fit and finish, durable, waterproof, dual voltage output (18/36V); multiple output connector options for connecting to various power supplies; Magnetic closure on the handles. Cons: Cost ($2.50 per watt). Verdict: $500, 4 star rating mainly due to the higher cost. page/3C4B2D0E-985A-48EB-BA61-3F16D9D35D75?ingress=2&visitId=d6b7e2d0-891e-42b5-a768-af264d69861a&ref_=ast_bln
