I really liked these gloves because they were expensive ($70 for XXL) and my overall impression was that they were of good quality in construction and material. But everything fits and after buying 3 different sizes I returned all 3 but found XXL fit best but still not great. Of course, like you, I've read countless reviews of how they "break in". Good luck with it. Just put 2800 miles in 7 days and they fit just like the first day I put them on. The middle finger wasn't long enough. The leather on the palms was bulky and created an extremely uncomfortable crease between the palm and the motorcycle grip. The skin on the back of the hand was too taut for the hand to remain in the grip position without constant tension. If I didn't have electronic cruise control to keep my hands resting while driving, these gloves would be a disaster. However, in my opinion these gloves use high quality materials and the stitching is top notch. The stings are somewhat uncomfortable and will not go away over time. The elastic cuff is too small and very difficult to put on the arm, especially when there is some sweat on it. Hand protection in falls is top notch. Many protective functions are integrated into the design of the gloves. Touchscreen compatibility was mediocre at best. The optimal temperature range for using these gloves is between 50 and 70 degrees. Below 50 degrees the fingertips began to go numb and at 75 degrees they suffocated. Much luck!
