while it works fine. Cheaper than the original with a slightly louder fan. Will be updated if there are problems!

Update: September 27, 2018 This PSU is still working perfectly and no problems have been reported. It's been 3 months now, many hours of playtime and uptime. Original review (07/03/2018) This PSU has performed well but this is just a first review. A couple of times since I've had it, it's run for about 3-4 hours of continuous gaming. I will update this review in the future as I use the power adapter more often. If I come across any bug etc I will update it immediately. It's not as good as the original MS power adapter that came with the Xbox. This also only lasted two years. My original power supply failed and my Xbox One randomly turned off while playing. It got me back into action without spending $60-80! KEY POINTS: * Works. So far it hasn't put me off. It powers my Xbox along with a few other devices that draw extra power from the USB ports (external 4TB hard drive and digital audio adapter). * More fan noise than the original. also loud. It sounds about as loud as a regular desktop computer fan sometimes does. When you're playing a game or watching something, you don't notice it. Mine is far enough away on the floor that it doesn't bother me. When the house is quiet and the Xbox is idle, I hear a faint whirr from the cooling fan. * Gets a little warm downstairs, but nothing special. PROS: + Affordable price + Looks very similar to the original Xbox One adapter. The fan seems to cool it well + powers my Xbox and external hard drive (4TB WD My Passport) and digital-to-analog audio converters powered by the Xbox One's USB ports. CONS: - At the time of writing this review, it had "OEM" in the product name. I find that misleading. Most consumers see "OEM" and believe that the quality of the part is as good as original equipment. They are significantly inferior to the original MS product. That's why they're twice as expensive. So far, however, it's working well. It seems to me that almost all Xbox One aftermarket power adapters listed here are the same product in different packaging from a different seller. - Definitely more fan noise than original performance. Power but not too loud. The power supply fan stays on for a short time even after the Xbox One is turned off. I suspect this is to get some heat out of the PSU after it has been turned off to aid in cooling. It can be a little annoying, but I hardly notice it and it never lasts more than a minute or two for me. WHY I NEED A REPLACEMENT POWER SUPPLY: My original Xbox One power supply died. I played for a while and then the Xbox just shut down without warning. Sometimes after an hour of play, sometimes less and sometimes longer. Once turned off, it didn't work until I restarted it by unplugging it from the Xbox and the outlet, then plugging it back in. disassembled and cleaned. (not dirty at all). I also made sure the fan was working and looked for any obvious signs of trouble like bad capacitors etc. Everything looked fine but it still randomly turned off. It was time to replace it and I really didn't want to spend $60 or so to replace the MS. EVERYTHING IS THE SAME FOR ME: Since I'm a bit picky, I wasn't too keen on replacing it with chinese junk either. . This is how much controversy and research started on my part. I decided to research Revain. I was determined to balance cost and quality. I would find the best, quietest power supply at the best price. After looking through dozens of product listings, comparing specs, and carefully examining countless photos and reviews, I came to a conclusion. It doesn't matter if you buy aftermarket and non-Microsoft power supply. I am convinced that 90% of the refurbished Xbox One power adapters listed on Revain are basically the same identical product sold under different brand names and in different boxes. . At this point, almost all of them look the same, have the same specs, etc. If you read enough of the listings, you'll find that many of them even have the same cut and paste product description. The difference is usually the box and the smart brand name they choose to put on the listing and the box. Do your own research but my advice is to pick the cheapest/best deal from a seller you feel comfortable with. Don't pay too much for one aftermarket power supply over another as they're likely to be the same anyway. I will say be sure to check the wattage to make sure you are getting one of the versions that is at least equal to or better than the wattage of your old PSU. Most new aftermarket power supplies are listed, but I've seen one or two that perform less well. There is just one thing to note.
