When I first got this cape, I was super excited because it was what I’ve been looking for and haven’t been able to find. It worked great until the neck area got to wet and started to peel. Once I washed it the whole plastic area began to lift and peel off. I planned on ordering a bunch more but is I’m going to look around. It still will work but I’m worried about my chemical clients.

These capes are awesome 👏Great value, have held up perfectly when in use daily at a salon. Great material, light weight yet water proof too. Not the usual faux leather top that peels in a dryer. Great to wash and dry no problem. Will definitely be getting more!

Overall these are a good cape. I gave a 3 star review because you can use them for haircutting, but the vinyl began peeling/melting off the very first time I put them in the washer (and subsequent washings), I hang to dry to avoid more issues. If the vinyl didn't peel/melt off they would be perfect!

After a few washed the kneck it wearing out on it. It has been a great chemical cape that fits most all, I really enjoy how large it is, because it overs the client and has lots of length in the back for my balayage clients. Overall I enjoyed it.

I have washed this 3 times and it has completely fallen apart. The front part has peeled completely off and doesn’t seem like it is "colorsafe” anymore. Bummed

After one wash the capes were falling apart. Had to purchase different ones because I wouldn't want my clients to wear these.

Not sure how long this will last. It arrived fast and it is a nice length and width, but the snaps are plastic and the waterproof part is very thin and the overall cape is very cheaply made. I suppose it will work for a while until I can get a better one. Very expensive for the quality though.

I originally purchased this cape in July 2019. After washing it twice, the plastic at the top peeled off. I contacted the seller and they quickly replaced it at no charge. They explained that the cape was not machine washable and should only be wiped to clean it. Then a few months later, they contacted me and said they had tried new material that can be washed and wondered if I would like to try one for free. I accepted and received it within a week. I've been using it every since October 2019,

I've had this cape for over 2 years and wash and dry it after each use (probably at least twice a week). It has held up great and I'm ordering 2 more.

This picture makes them seem like the top is shiny and it’s more matte. Also the back is nice and long to cover our lower styling chairs. I may buy another!

According to CDC rules. We wash after each client. Hang dry. Do not put them in the dryer, they go crinkly and the waterproof shoulder part falls to bits.

I searched forever for new capes for my salon. Finally found these and they are wearing badly around the neck after only a few washes. Just like others said I had the same problem. Washed in the washer and hung to dry. I’m very sad because I really liked these and was ready to buy a lot more!

Terrible. Terrible terrible quality. Literally fell apart within the first week of use. For the price I can buy better brands of styling capes that I know will hold up. Returned them all including the ones that the material separated on and stitching came out.

I really like this cape till you wash it. the plastic on top of the cape peals off every time. I hang them to dry but it doesn't matter. I wish that didn't happen because my clients love that there not so hot!

Used it the first time I ever dyed my long hair. Great cape. Not sure what people are complaining about! My clothes were completely clean when done! Great product!
