Review on KwikSafety πŸ”’ Charlotte Restraint Protection Gear by Gary Stringfield

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Fantastic kit with the best in safety and protection

I had to replace the roof and am not a height fanatic. I'm fine at 12 feet, but 20 feet takes me out of my comfort zone. But the work had to be done. So I bought two of these kits to use one of them and the other for my friends. We attached the ropes along the ridgeline with the included chain plates. The included hardware is all you could possibly need. The only improvement I would suggest is a leash at the attachment point on the back of the harness. Otherwise you will definitely need help. Even the tote bags provided came in really handy when moving to the roof!

Pros
  • ANSI THIRD PARTY VERIFIED (unique to KwikSafety products) - all sizes (25ft, 50ft, 100ft and 150ft) are quality controlled and tested by an accredited third party testing lab and are fully ANSI compliant Conformity /ASSE Z.359.15-2014. KwikSafety tests all of its products to the ANSI standard, while most other security companies don't, and its buyers should beware. The shock has a max stopping power of 1800 pounds and medium. Braking power 900 lbs. Hooks open 21 mm (approx. 0.83 inch).
Cons
  • not reliable
